Tectia used to be known as SSH Communications Security Corp. SSH is well known as being the original developer of the Secure Shell protocol, the foundation for so many network security solutions.

In April 2010 we adopted the name Tectia, which had previously been associated with our solutions. At the same time we launched a new brand image designed to signal our movement away from being merely a technology developer, to being a market maker for real-time information security solutions.

We are now faster, nimbler, more market-oriented, more pioneering and ready to assume our position as leaders in this industry.

We hope that through our blog and our roster of writers and contributors, you'll get to know the new Tectia better.
